Crescent International School, Dhanbad, successfully organized the National Youth Parliament – Kishore Sabha 2026, an inspiring initiative under the aegis of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India.
Students of Classes 9 to 12 enthusiastically participated in this prestigious program, where they beautifully demonstrated the functioning of the Indian parliamentary system. From Question Hour and Zero Hour to Bill presentation and structured debates, the session was conducted just like a real parliamentary proceeding — giving everyone present a live experience of democracy in action.
The program was effectively coordinated by Mr. Somen Chatterjee, whose dedication and meticulous planning ensured its grand success.
Director Mr. Isa Shamim appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of such platforms in nurturing leadership skills, democratic values, and confident expression among students.
Principal Mrs. Vijeta Das remarked that the event reflects the true spirit of experiential learning as envisioned in the National Education Policy 2020, strengthening students’ understanding through practical exposure.
