On April 22nd, Crescent International School, Govindpur, was abuzz with energy and eco-conscious spirit as students from Classes 2 to 12 actively participated in a vibrant celebration of Earth Day 2025.
The day was filled with inspiring activities designed to foster environmental awareness and responsibility:
Human Chain Formation (Classes 3–12): Students stood together in a strong symbol of unity and commitment to protecting our planet.
Painting Competition (Classes 6–10): Budding artists captured the beauty of nature and the urgency of its preservation through colorful, impactful artworks.
Essay Writing Competition (Classes 5–12): Young writers expressed powerful thoughts and innovative ideas on how to safeguard our environment.
Plantation Drive (Classes 2–8): Students planted saplings across the school campus, taking a hands-on step towards building a greener future.
Director Mr. Isa Shamim and Principal Mrs. Vijeta Das praised the efforts of the students and teachers, encouraging everyone to stay connected with nature and continue working towards sustainable living. They emphasized that real change begins with small actions — and today’s young generation holds the power to protect our planet.
Let’s pledge to be mindful citizens of Earth — because “Our Power Lies in Protecting Our Planet.”
